Contra plane. Works lying on the bronze plate, right side up. Sole is a 4 mm bronze plate, 96 x 50 mm, fastened to the wood with six screws. Shaving slot and fore-cutter 7 x 12 mm with slot and screw. Wooden top piece 1.3 cm thick, 9.6 x 4.7 cm, with wooden wedge on the left. Bronze and wood are bevelled 50° on the right.
