Upper edges rounded, shaving slot passes fully through. Wooden wedge. Two-part bronze tongue (238 × 50 × 2.5 mm). A two-part wooden strip (23.8 × 2.5 × 1.2 cm) is screwed on with five screws.

The depth adjuster is a bronze angle plate 23 × 15 mm wide and 94 mm long at the front, strengthened on the side by a 45 × 58 mm triangle. Wall thickness 3.5 mm. The front face carries a 6 × 32 mm slot with a screw for locking.

Underneath is an 11 mm bronze tube with inner thread and screw for depth setting. Depth of cut adjustable from 0 to 2.5 cm. Side fence made of wood: 24/27 × 5.4 × 3.3 cm. A screwed-on wooden reinforcement 27 × 0.9 × 3.7/1.5 cm.

At the front is a wooden block 3.4 × 3.6 × 4.7 cm screwed on from above and below. A 20 cm long, 1.8 cm diameter hardwood rod is fitted as a side guide. At the rear, another block 2.6 × 3.6 × 4.7 cm is attached in the same manner, with a second 20 cm hardwood rod (Ø 1.8 cm). Both rods have wooden wedges. Adjustable lateral spacing 0.7 to 17 cm.
