Wooden wedge held in place by a 3 mm sheet metal strip inserted to approx. 3.5 cm.
Right side panel: wood 22.3×7×1 cm, rounded edges, carved with lines, attached with multiple screws. Two 1.1 cm holes.

Left side at bottom: height stop, 1.5 cm wide and 0.8 cm high (can be covered by the fence).
Two square iron rods pass through the plane body to the side plate as square sliding rods, surface on top: 2.2×2.2 cm, 17.2 cm long.

They are held by one 110 mm long, 10 mm diameter iron screw with perforated cylinder head (Ø & length 20 mm) and another nut embedded in the wooden rods and hidden laterally. Thread: Metric 60°, DIN 13/14, 1.75.

The 14.5 cm adjustable side fence consists of:

• Upper part: 22.3×2.5×2.5 cm wood (+ 0.8 cm wooden spring)
• Lower part: 22.3×2.5/3.9×5.5 cm wood (with groove), interior 1.3×2 cm with cove profile.

Both wooden parts have two 2.2×1 cm slots to accommodate the square rods. Both parts are clamped to the rods by approx. 80 mm long screws of the same type as described above.
