Grooving Plane with Iron Screws
Top is slightly rounded with line decoration. Shavings slot on the right, wooden wedge. On the right side, a bronze plate (88×16 mm) is attached with two screws.
The iron tongue (205×45×3 mm) is secured by a bronze strip (205×25×1 mm) using six screws, and the strip is set 3 mm into the wood at the top.
A separate iron piece (110×20 mm) has a riveted bronze block (38×24×10 mm) with a 2 mm bronze overhang, fitted 4.5 mm deep. An iron screw (metric 60° DIN 13/14, 1.75 pitch) is used there. Behind the iron is a bronze oval knob (metric 60° DIN 13/14, 1.25 pitch). In between lies a small bronze plate (22×8×1 mm) fastened on both sides with two screws.
The side fence is adjustable (8×16 mm). Everything is assembled so the plane can cut grooves accurately, with a neatly arranged shavings slot on the right.
Cutting angle: approx. 50°
