Fine plane for end grain. Cast iron body, wall thickness 4–6 mm. At the front, 17 mm high, with an iron and wood inlay (3.2×5.4 cm) extending to the mouth (1.5×46 mm or stepped from 32 mm down to 18 mm). 3 cm behind that, at the top, is a wedge abutment (20×8 mm) cast across the full width. At the rear, side cheeks measure about 50×30×4 mm and protrude 1 cm. Underneath lies the iron bed, 100 mm long at 20°, with a wooden infill.

Iron: 45 mm (1¾″), top bevel approx. 20°, bed angle approx. 20° → total ~40°
