Coffin plane, designed for end grain. Cast iron body, 4.8 cm high, wall thickness 4 mm, with an internal reinforcing ring all around.

Mouth: 1×38 mm, positioned 90 mm from the front.
Inside at the rear: a 22° angled surface, 18 mm chamfered.

Wooden infill wedge: 14/2.4 × 8.4 × 4 cm, serving as the iron bed.
An upper wooden insert: 12/1.3 × 8.7 × 10/13 mm, fitted where the side walls are 16 mm from the top.

Additionally, on the right side is a 5 mm rounded, 58 mm long extra wedge abutment, so the plane can be used from left or right. The side walls measure 6 mm.

Iron: 39 mm (1½″)
Bevel on top approx. 26°, bed angle approx. 22° → total ~48°
