Molding Plane: “Karnis” with a Small Plate (A)

This right-handed plane has rounded top edges, decorative incised lines, and uses a wooden wedge. On the right top side, there is a wooden strip measuring about 22.7 × 0.8 × 3.6 cm, joined with a tongue-and-groove below a cove (karnis) and rabbet profile. Below that, there is a 2.8 cm flat section, plus a chip ejection opening and depth stop measuring 0.4 cm in both width and height.

On the left side, at the bottom, there is a side fence approximately 1.1 cm wide and 0.6 cm high. The iron is about 28 mm wide, with a cutting angle of around 52°. The markings read “Glock & Peugeot & C^ie.”
