Molding Plane – Single Cutting Bead

This right-handed plane has rounded top edges and uses a wooden wedge. On the upper right side, a wooden strip (approx. 23.3 × 1.2 × 2.3 cm) is glued on, with the lower 2 cm left flat. Below that, a two-part strip (23.3 × 0.5 × 0.6 cm) is glued on, interrupted by the chip opening.

The depth stop is 0.5 cm wide. On the lower left side, there is a flat side fence measuring about 1 cm wide and 1.4 cm high.

The iron is 22 mm wide with a 12 mm shaft, set at a cutting angle of approximately 53°.
