Bullnose Plane – Cast Steel Cornice Plane

Steel cast body, 6 mm wall thickness. At the front: 11 mm fixed chipbreaker and 35 mm vertical front face. The top slopes back 65 mm, ending in a recess that locks the cap iron. The iron bed slopes back at 19°, flanked by 8 mm high vertical side walls.

Iron depth is adjusted by a 40 mm long 6 mm screw set at a 19° angle, with a 20 mm long, 10 mm diameter knurled nut, followed by a 15 mm ring acting as a handle. The adjustment slot in the iron is 5 × 11 mm. Turning clockwise lowers the blade.

The cap iron has a 28 mm long (Ø 6 mm) retaining pin, a double dome head, and a curved rear grip. It uses a 27 mm long 6 mm screw and 5 mm knurled knob (Ø 19 mm), held by an 8 mm striking pin.

Mouth is 3 mm wide. On each side are recessed 1 mm-deep knurled triangles. Original wooden box included.
