Shoulder Plane – Bronze Rectangular Body

Made from solid bronze with 3.5 mm thick walls. The upper edges are beveled down to the midsection and inlaid with wood. Uses a wooden wedge. The chip opening runs fully underneath.

The sole is 2 mm steel; mouth opening is 2 mm wide.

Iron: 14 mm wide (9/16″), 6 mm shaft, top bevel approx. 20° Cutting angle: 27° bed + 20° bevel ≈ 47°
