Coachmaker’s Plane – Side Smoothing Model
Lightly rounded upper edges with line engravings and a wooden wedge. Right side is 2 cm tall and flat, with a groove below (11.8 × 2.1 × 0.5 cm) where a wooden strip is glued on. Below that, a 3 cm section transitions from flat to rounded.
Left side is 2 cm flat, then beveled over 3.2 cm by 0.3 cm.
Iron: 7 mm wide Cutting angle: approx. 53° Marking: I. S. W.
