Universal Hand Beader – Basic Smoothing Plane
Designed for grooves in curved wood. Cast body with flat sole and vertical back wall with side handles. Sole measures 32 × 113 × 5 mm, flat with a 6 × 97 mm cross slot and iron recess 11/7 × 8/23 mm.
Back wall has two 6 mm holes next to the iron bed. Iron holder is loose but not removable. Two clamp brackets at right angles on crossbars with 5 mm threads and wing screws.
Side fence is adjustable 9 cm left and right. It’s secured in a cross slot beneath the sole with a wing screw. Fence uses a U-shaped iron 84 × 15 × 12 mm with 5 mm thread and a rib with an iron recess.
Handles are 88 mm long, curved, and oval-rounded with an 8 mm hole on the left. Mark and patent are cast on the handle.
