Grooving Plane with Wooden Rods
Beautifully carved. Shaft front top has a branch 11 × 3.5 cm, rear Maltese cross 4 × 3 cm. Behind is a 2 cm high "J P". Side outer lianas 12 and 7 cm long. Wooden wedge carved as head.
Upper side fence is a leaf garland 22 × 1.3 cm. Outer side has a portal with a door in perspective 7 × 7 cm, beautifully carved. Upper side section 23 × 2.8 × 2 cm glued in groove (slightly warped).
Iron tongue 229 × 54 × 3 mm, two-part with four screws. One screw with Ø 20 mm head acts as iron side holder.
Depth stop iron 116 × 15 mm with welded flat iron 9 × 27 × 4 mm with a 30 × 8 mm slot. Bronze guide plate 62 × 12 mm with two screws.
Fixing screw Ø 7 mm, 55 mm long with bronze wing nut. Depth stop 0 to 2.5 cm.
Side fence 23.1 × 2.2/4 × 9.4 cm in two parts, 3.9 and 5.5 cm high, with triangular cutout for square rods. Lower cornice rounding. Two clamp screws Ø 8 mm with bronze wing nuts.
Two sliding rods 19 × 2.6 × 2.6 cm with rounded edges. Two perforated ball head screws fix the shaft; length 80 mm, Ø 16 mm with nut slid into the rod, hidden side slot. Side distance adjustable 0 to 16 cm.
Iron: 8 mm with lateral back stop wedge. Cutting angle: approx. 50°. Marking: Winged lion, 2 inscriptions.
Condition: Conserved, museum-worthy, very beautiful.
