Cooper’s Plane – Left-Handed

Body is flat on the top inside with two square wooden rods, each 2.6 × 2.6 cm and 19.5 cm long, with edges at the front. Bottom is flat with a chip opening and two 140 mm long, 9 mm wide iron screws with metric 60° DIN 13/14 2.0 threads and perforated ball heads.

Square nuts (15 mm) are recessed into the rods on the sides. Inside (at the top of the plane), the surface is flat with rounded edges; two wooden wedges (1.2 cm) on the plane side are glued in a groove and widened.

The sole is longitudinally curved with a 40 cm radius and features a 1.2 cm wide, 1 cm high groove.

The fence is longitudinally split into 8.1 and 3.1 cm sections with 2.6 cm triangular cutouts for the rods. Two identical ball-headed screws clamp the inner parts.

The outer fence face has a 3 mm iron plate fixed with eight screws for wear protection. Distance from iron to fence adjustable 1.6 to 16 cm.

Iron: 14 mm wide, cutting angle approx. 55°. Two bevelers 5 mm wide, cutting angle approx. 80°. Marking: GOLDENBERG ACIER FONDU.
