Jack Plane (Double-Iron)

Cast-iron body 320×65×5/26 mm, fastened with two screws to a 7.8×4.1 cm wooden batten. Front wooden knob; behind it a lever cap with eccentric cam and spring (“2¼” cast inside) on a screw. Fine depth adjustment via Ø 26 mm bronze nut. Early-type lateral adjuster (unmarked). Rear wooden tote secured with a bronze screw. Comparable to Bailey No. 27½.
