Profile Plane (grooving plane)

Plane 4.1 cm wide with a 1.2 cm wide rounded groove in the center. Body block-shaped, slightly curved on both sides. Front top with cut-out. Horn 4.8 cm high, 1.5 cm wide, sawn crosswise in a comma shape, fitted into a 1.4 cm square mortise in the plane. Shaving slot slanted, wooden wedge.

Iron: 41 mm; set at 12° angle; cutting angle ∠ 42°.
