Outer wall 2.5 mm thick in an elliptical shape. Rear height from the sole edge 11.5 mm forming the iron bed. Forward bevel 9 mm long down to 7 mm height. Front rounding rising from 10 mm to 12 mm with a 3 mm pin acting as the wedge abutment. Front height 5 mm. Sole 27 × 13 mm, curved across and slightly curved lengthwise. Mouth 4 × 9.5 mm, also curved. Wooden wedge.

Iron: 9 mm, bevel down, straight unbevelled profile, cutting edge slightly curved.
Cutting angle: approx. 35° with bevel ~10°.

One of a set of eight.
Previously owned by a violin maker from western Switzerland.
