Made from a solid bronze block, polished on the outside. All walls vertical. Front height 12 mm, rear height 21 mm. The front is bored out to a depth of 34 mm, leaving a 5 mm thick sole. Wall thickness 2 mm, solid at the back. Mouth 2 × 16 mm. The cap-iron stop consists of a 20 mm long stainless-steel pin, Ø 4 mm. The cap is bronze, 32 × 15 × 0–7 mm, with thread. The screw is bronze, 15 mm long, Ø 6 mm, with a knurled head Ø 17 mm, Whitworth thread 55° 28 G.
