Small end-grain plane with U-shaped cast iron body. Sole 3 mm thick, side walls 2 mm. Front wooden inlay 1.8×0.8×3×1.3 cm. Mouth 3×25 mm. Upper side walls with moulded curve, tapering backward. Wire Ø 2.5 mm, 30 mm long, serves as support for the bronze cap iron (34×25×0.5 mm) secured with an iron screw. As the iron bedding, two small notches are cut into the sloped mouth sole, with two 15/20 mm high longitudinal walls set at 50° above. Rear wooden infill 4.4×2.8×3 cm fits between these side walls. All wooden edges are strongly rounded.
