Block shape, cuts to the right, edges rounded and beveled at the top. Chip chamber: 12.5 × 3.2 cm. The iron is held by a 34 mm long 6 mm screw with a thread: Metric 60° DIN 13/14 1.25. The female thread is set into the wood.

Iron: 31 mm with slot, 55 × 7 mm, curved upwards. Bottom end thickened to 14 mm, profiled grind below, bevel ground to approx. 28°.
Cutting angle: ≈ 60°
