A solid bronze body with recesses for the chip opening, a wooden wedge, and the iron. Each side has five shallow hollows (1 mm deep) with a decorative signet. The background is hammered and “turned” in the signet. Along the top, there are three rounded areas that are flat on the sides. The ebony wedge has a round, 8 mm‑wide disc at the top. The mouth measures about 4 mm.
