Profile Plane

The shaft is 3.8 cm wide and flat. Front top has a 6 cm rounded section; below is a cornice curve starting at the nose. The rear is rounded and straight, 5 cm round with the nose below, tapering over 6 cm to the sole.

The body is trapezoidal, with 1.5 cm tapered shafts front and back, each with a 0.5 cm bore. Right side has a chip opening and a 1 cm step in the wood.

The sole is approximately 80 × 50 mm, with a flat, slightly convex iron, fastened with two screws and a 40 mm long, about 6 mm high side fence.
