Schropp Plane

Sole projects forward; horn present. Longitudinal grooves on both sides. Wooden wedge. Rear handle is 2.1 cm diameter, 8.5 cm long. Side fence measures 4 × 3 cm with two 1.2 cm diameter holes for two cross rods. Upper edges are fully carved with line decorations.

Double irons, 48 mm wide, American form. Cutting angle approx. 45°. Marked WILLIAM ASH & Co.

Condition: Conserved, good with original modifications.
