Grooving Plane with Wood Screws and Double Side Fence

Body is 20.2 × 4.7/3 × 7.1 cm made of wood, with a flat groove 5.4 × 1.8 cm on top and an opening 2.3 × 1 cm at the bottom for the depth stop screw. Rear wooden wedge-iron tongue measures 265 × 50 × 3 mm.

Bronze band 247 × 18 × 3 mm with six screws, recessed 0.5 cm into the wooden groove. Depth stop iron 108 × 20 mm with bronze block 25 × 9 mm, internally threaded.

Screw with bronze oval head and 5 × 15 mm bronze holding plate, fastened with two screws. Left side blocks iron screw in bronze sliding slot.

Depth stop adjustable 0 to 2.3 cm. Side fence wood 20.4 cm long at top, 23 cm at bottom, 1.5 to 4.3 cm wide, 7.3 cm high, with profiled sides and top. Inside has a 2 cm deep recess for depth stop. Wood screws hold it in place.

Wooden block 3.2 × 2.1 cm at top exceeds the screw diameter, 4.9 cm high, made of individual wood pieces. Threaded section 19 cm long, Ø 2 cm outer, 1.7 cm inner, pitch 3.2 mm. Rounded 1.5 cm long pins at front and back.

Rods with block total 26.4 cm long, rotatable on the stop wood and secured with round head screws. Two lock nuts inside and two outside hold the stop and plane together.

Adjustment screws Ø 4.3 cm, 1.4 cm long outside, turned double wheels, lightly knurled. Nuts Ø 4.4/3.1/3.6 cm, 4.4 cm long, beautifully turned.
