Door Plane

For groove and slot in door rebate to fit a sealing strip. Body made of wood, 21.5 × 10.6 cm, thickness right 2.9 cm. Sole 2.9 cm flat then 3.5 cm curved, recessed from 1.5 to 2.8 cm vertically and 4.5 cm at the 1.8 cm thick edge, tapering off.

On the 15° beveled 4.5 cm surface inside is a saw blade 215 × 30 × 1 mm under a 20 mm flat iron fixed with three screws so it protrudes 10 mm. Both sides have two 21.5 cm long square wooden strips fixed with two screws each.

Saw blade 2.1 × 21 × 19 cm opposite 1.9 × 1.2 cm. Behind the saw blade at the same 15° side angle are two iron-wood wedge slots at 45°, spaced 4.2 cm apart, for an 8 and a 5 mm iron. Above the wooden body is a 5 mm iron plate 218 × 106 mm fixed with four screws. The plate is coppered and has a handle with a 2.8 cm thick wood ring cutout approx. 15 cm diameter outside.

Saw 215 × 30 × 1 mm cuts forwards and backwards.

Irons: 8 mm bevel cut 60°, approx. 45° angle. Second iron 5 mm missing.

Condition: Conserved. Second iron missing.

At the 15° slanted 4.5 cm surface, the saw blade 215x30x1 mm is attached with three screws on a 20 mm flat iron below, so that 10 mm is protruding.
On both sides, there are two 21.5 cm long square woods, each attached with two screws.
Sawing section 2.1x21/19 cm opposite 1.9x1.2 cm.
Behind the saw blade, there are two iron-wood wedges at a 45° angle at a 15° side angle, spaced 4.2 cm apart, for one 8 mm and one 5 mm iron.
On the wooden body is a 5 mm iron plate 218x106 mm attached with four screws.
The plate is copper-plated and has a handle made from a 2.8 cm thick wooden cutout with a diameter of about 15 cm.

Saw: 215x30x1 mm cuts forwards and backwards.
Irons: 8 mm bevel cut at 60°
2nd iron: 5 mm missing.
