Manhole Plane

Walnut wood. Top hollow-rounded, front with groove and cornice curve, edges chamfered. Right side 4.2 cm deep, slightly rounded lengthwise, with shaving slot, then a 2.1 cm widening with additional shaving slot. Left side flat, slightly rounded lengthwise. Sole rounded to radius approx. 15 cm. Right side 0.3 cm wider than left. Iron open on the outer right.

Iron: 48 mm; shaft 14 mm; cutting angle ∠ approx. 53°.

Conserved.

Condition: heavily worm-eaten; wedge replaced.
