Double iron. Polished bronze body (gunmetal). Wall thickness 5 mm, sole 6 mm, set into the frame by 1 mm. Front wooden infill 3.5/4.5×6.6×5 cm. Lever cap in bronze 100×56/18/25×0–16 mm with a 10 mm threaded round nut and a 46 mm long screw, thread WW 16G 3/8", with an 11 mm high knurled twin head Ø 27 mm. The cap is held laterally by two steel screws. Behind it, as the cap iron bed, a wooden infill 20×6.6/2.5×12 cm with a projecting, fully-carved closed wooden handle (saw-handle type). Opening 7×3 cm. The wooden infills are secured all around with eight bronze screws. Sole is steel, mouth 56×12 mm. The walls of the bronze body are let into the wood and neatly rounded out at the shaving aperture.
