Cuts on the right (left on the cask rim). The thickness of the cask’s rim edge can be adjusted. Top flat, edges rounded, wooden wedge and shaving slot. Right side including lower rounding 4 cm straight, depth stop 7 mm wide. Left side with 6 cm flat dovetail and inserted 2.6×2.2 cm square bar, 24 mm high. Top bevelled, bottom with 0.5 cm hole. The plane body has a 1 mm sheet-metal flange, 30×55 mm, fixed with three screws.

The sole has on the left a side fence made from a 122 mm long, 14 mm wide, 6 mm high square iron, screwed on. The fence mass (upper fence) has two 105×20 mm, 2 mm-thick plates screwed to the side as protection. Left recess hollowed for the clamping screw around the vertical bar hole.

Clamping screw 20 mm long with 8 mm Whitworth thread 55° 18G 5/16", welded onto a 6 mm plate, 40×44 mm outside and with a 27×31 mm cutout with 5 mm web to protect the wooden bar. Under the wing nut, 27×37×4 mm, lies a pressure plate 52×19×4 mm. The opposite side of the fence is rounded. Fence adjustment range: 0.6 to 15 cm.
