Cast-iron body 320 × 65 × 5 / 26 mm, fastened to a 7.8 × 4.1 cm wooden tote with two screws. At the front a wooden knob, followed by the iron cap with eccentric lever and spring (marking inside: 2¼) secured by a screw. Fine depth adjustment up and down via a 26 mm bronze adjusting nut. Lateral adjustment of the older type (without inscription). Wooden rear handle fastened with a bronze screw. Design very similar to a Bailey No. 27½.
