Bullnose Rebate (Cornice Plane)

The body is a 13 mm thick bronze plate. It has a chip ejection opening and a hollowed slot for the wedge and iron. The chipbreaker is 5 mm thick, and the mouth opening is 5 mm wide. Each side wall measures 35 × 23 mm with a 1 mm recess, leaving the base in a rough finish.

At the front, there is a rounded bevel, curved inward at the top. The rear stands 30 mm vertically.

Iron: 13 mm wide (½ inch), with a 3 mm shaft. Bevel on top: about 35° Cutting angle: 16° bed + 35° bevel ≈ 51°
